Suffragette City has once again proven the power of music, community and collective generosity. Our latest event has raised an incredible £10,500, the biggest ever total from our biggest ever party.
Since its inception in 2018, Suffragette City has raised an astonishing £45,000 for grassroots charities across Greater Manchester that support women and gender expansive folk. This year’s fundraising total will be shared equally between four vital local organisations:
- Contact Hostel Manchester
- Every Month MCR
- SAWN (Support and Action for Women Network) Oldham
- MASH Manchester
All four charities offer essential support to communities across the region, and the funds raised will be put to immediate use. Updates on how the money is spent will be shared in the coming weeks.
The Suffragette City team would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported the event over the years, with special appreciation for the DJs and volunteers who donate their time and energy to make each party unforgettable.
This remarkable achievement underlines what can be accomplished when grassroots creativity meets community solidarity.
