Suffragette City – the annual riotous celebration of International Women’s Day – is back again for 2023. This year we bring together an incredible line up of Manchester’s female and non-binary DJ talent to raise funds for local grassroots charities.
And we’re excited to announce that this year we are coming together at a fantastic new venue – Canvas Club at Circle Square on Oxford Rd. Offering us a spacious basement club and a seperate bar and chillout room, we think our new venue will be the perfect location for you to get together, celebrate and dance! Suffragette City is a not-for-profit event.
All our DJs generously give their time for free, promoters and door staff are unpaid, and we are so grateful that even our venue has been provided at no cost. This means every penny of profit from ticket sales and merchandise goes to charity. Our event in 2022 raised over £9000 in funds to support vulnerable women and gender minorities.
This year we will once again be supporting local, grassroots charities providing invaluable support in Greater Manchester at a time when people need it most.
Suffragette City welcomes open-minded humans of all genders to come together, dance and celebrate the achievements of women in our city. Our exciting line up is taking shape and will be released very soon, along with our chosen charities and details of the eagerly anticipated 2023 merch range!
We expect demand to be high this year with a smaller capacity venue, so please don’t hesitate to get those tickets bagged!
